Britain's trade deficit has declined more than forecast for August

The trade deficit (Trade in goods) of Great Britain amounted to 6.2 billion pounds in August, the National Statistics Office. The value index has surpassed forecasts of analysts, who expected reduction in the deficit with 6.5 billion pounds to 6.4 billion pounds.
UK trade deficit excluding trade with the European Union (Non-EU trade) amounted to 3.1 billion pounds in August compared with a deficit of 3.9 billion pounds a month earlier. The deficit with countries outside the EU forecasts of 3.6 billion pounds.
