ECB Weber: Banks need to reduce volatility in the economy

Central banks must reduce the volatility in the economy, said a member of the Governing Council of the European Central Bank, Axel Weber. Moreover, Weber noted that it is possible to use monetary policy, though, the banks, there are other means: to draw attention to the financial situation and the impact on political decisions. The main task of the ECB is the maintenance of price stability, Weber added.
